The new Secrest Community Center was built to replace a very dated teen center located adjacent to the new building. The teen center is heavily used by teens in the area and an outdoor pool is existing on the site next to the existing teen center. The new Secrest Community Center was designed to have a large teen area to replace the existing center, a gymnasium attached to the teen area through an overhead garage door, a fitness area with workout equipment, a small therapy pool, and locker rooms that access the existing outdoor pool.

The front desk at the new center used the wood floor from the old teen center.
